.The public as a whole are not daft, they know you can get the odd rogue builder, plumber, accountant and psychic (or psudo psychic as the case may be) etc. You get these rogues in every profession. This does not mean, that the whole profession is bad, invalid or full of crooks. Many more poeple than ever before have in fact recongnised they have experinced first hand a psychic or paranormal event in their own lives that they cannot easiliy dismiss. Many have consulted a good psychic themselves and have felt the real benifit of a reading with a good psychic and cannot try as they might ignore the fact that the psychic has an ability of some kind that is paranormal in nature. As for James Randi’s million dollar challenge, I can never see many genuine psychics queing up under his conditions and applying to be tested in this way. However, many psychics can/do and will help certain bodies in serious and impartial tests to great effect. More such tests would be welcome by many psychics.

It is however a double edged sword. I have personally put myself up for various test, have given prediction before and about an event live on tv which have proven to be 100% correct, I have used my ability to help find lost objects, people and even pets with great succes in the past, have been wired up in labs and tested, have given readings via psycometry live on tv with no prior knowlege of whom the objects owners maybe and have picked up many specific details, including the actual name of the owners object. (psychometry is where you hold an object and say what details of the owner you pick up) etc.

Yet I am sure there are still people who will say that is not evidence enough. It really does depend on a person or bodies criteria for ‘proof’ and evidence. I have been tested with psi cards, where you predict what the next card is to be turned over. Im no good at it at all it seems. I scored well below the averge expected, I was however asked live on TV. to predicts the outcome of several upcoming events that I had no prior knowlege off and scored 100% accuracy as a months later once they had taken place I was proven correct. So if your criteria was accurate psi cards predictions, im would be considered as psychic as a brick, but if your test criteria was accurate facts glenaed about an objects owner, I would score highly.
